Hi,

I was the recording and mix engineer on the song "Raindance" by Traveling Blind Cinema, released yesterday:

Traveling Blind Cinema is the solo music project of my friend Emilio; he wrote and performed the song. Genre-wise it's... experimental piano? Ambient (but with vocals)? Somewhere blurry. Working on this piece was a great exercise for me in how to optimize sounds that I would never think to create myself. I've really enjoyed upping my audio production skills over the past few years and it's high time I direct that energy back towards my own music; more coming on that topic later this year.

More imminently: I will be performing a 30ish minute acoustic set at Pando's Cafe on Sunday, May 17, to celebrate their two year anniversary being in business. Not sure on the set time yet, sometime in the late morning or early afternoon. Come by to hear new music that I'm working on!! and to support the most mom-and-pop cafe on the block.

Later that same day I will be doing a fiction and/or poetry reading of my work, this time at the Greene Hill Food Co-op. That'll probably be around 7pm?

For an all-day affair, come to both events and see if I can hold my nerve enough to perform in front of people twice in one day without imploding.

yours, shakily,
N
